Oppo foldable smartphone codenamed Peacock is set to launch next month mlks.



New Delhi. Smartphone maker Oppo is reportedly planning to launch their first foldable smartphone. The code name of this phone is ‘Peacock’. According to a report from Gizmo China, the upcoming Oppo Fold is expected to have an internal folding design like the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Huawei Mate X2.

The Gizmochina report further reveals that Oppo is working on another high-end device codenamed ‘Butterfly’, which will launch next year. Gizmochina’s report is based on a tip from a tipster who posted phone information on Weibo.

What will be the specification of the peacock?
According to Tipster, Peacock could launch later this year, next month. According to reports, the company will introduce Peacock with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, then Butterfly with the upcoming new and latest chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 898.

According to an earlier report, the folding design of the Oppo Foldable smartphone could be similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Huawei Mate X2. This phone can be launched with Samsung’s 8-inch LTPO OLED panel. The Sony IMX766 can have a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front camera. This phone may also have a side-facing fingerprint sensor. According to the information received, this phone will run on Android 12 based ColosOS 12.
