Vodafone Idea New Tariff Price: Mobile phone use has become expensive from today. After Airtel, Vodafone Idea has increased all prepaid plans by up to 25 percent. The increased duty has come into effect from today. Now Vodafone Idea customers have to spend about 25 percent more than before.

Vodafone Idea’s basic plan which was Rs 79 till now has been increased to Rs 99. The top-up pack has gone up to Rs 58 instead of Rs 48.

The price of the pack with 1.5 GB of data per day will now be Rs 299 instead of Rs 249. The validity of this plan is 28 days. One GB data pack has become 269 rupees. So far it was 219 rupees. The 2GB data pack is priced at Rs 359 instead of Rs 299. The annual pack with 24GB data pack has gone up to Rs 1799 instead of Rs 1499.

Vodafone Idea’s Best Selling Plan of Rs 149 is now Rs 179. The plan, with 28 days validity, offers 2 GB of data, 300 SMS and unlimited calling on all networks.

Airtel raised the price first
Prior to Vodafone-Idea, Airtel had announced an increase in the rate of prepaid plans. Airtel’s Rs 79 base plan is now Rs 99. The Rs 149 plan will now be available at Rs 179. This plan is valid for 28 days and it offers unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and a total of 2 GB of data.

Airtel’s Rs 219 plan is now Rs 265. It will receive 100 SMS and 1GB of data per day for a period of 28 days.

A day after Airtel announced the tariff hike, Vodafone Idea also announced the tariff hike.

What are Jio prepaid plans?
2 GB of data is available daily for 249 rupees from Jio. Its validity is 28 days. The price of 84 days 1.5 GB data plan is 555 rupees. And if you want to get 2 GB of data per day for 84 days, then you have to spend 599 rupees.

Prices rose two years ago
Earlier, in December 2019, telecom companies increased their tariffs by 25 to 30 percent. At that time Airtel increased the minimum recharge plan from Rs 49 to Rs 79.
